Our interests lie in the study of the molecular mechanisms involved in virus gene expression and the nature of virus-host interactions such as cell receptor binding, fusion, replication and assembly of several families of RNA containing viruses.  We use molecular virology, biochemical and structural techniques to investigate aspects of the virus life cycle.
