Rhinoviruses

Overview

Native Human Rhinovirus serotype 14.

Human Rhinovirus serotype 14 (black and white) complexed with 60, strongly-neutralizing antibody fragments (Fab 17-1A, blue).

Human Rhinovirus serotype 14 (black and white) complexed with 30, strongly-neutralizing, monoclonal, antibodies (mAb17-1A, red).

Human Rhinovirus serotype 14 (black and white) complexed with 60, weakly-neutralizing antibody fragments (Fab 1-1A, green).

Human Rhinovirus serotype 14 (black and white) complexed with 60, strongly-neutralizing antibody fragments (Fab 12-1A, purple).

  • Atomic structure of Human Rhinovirus serotype 14 complexed with neutralizing, antibody fragments.

Human Rhinovirus serotype 16 (black and white) complexed with 60 of its cellular receptors (orange). The cellular receptor for the major group of rhinoviruses is the Intercellular adhesion molecule-1. The molecule has five, soluble domains but only the two N-terminal domains are bound here.

    Other Rhinovirus Projects:

  • Human Rhinovirus serotype 14 bound with the two, N-terminal domains of ICAM-1.

  • Human Rhinovirus 14 bound to monoclonal antibodies. This sample was embedded in the negative stain aurothioglucose.

  • Human Rhinovirus 14 bound to antibody fragments and Protein G.

  • Human Rhinovirus serotype 16 complexed with all five domains of the soluble form of ICAM-1.

  • Native Rhinovirus serotype 16.
