Comovirus
Cowpea mosaic virus
(CPMV) is a multicomponent, single-stranded, RNA plant virus. Typical
preparations include a mixture of empty capsids and capsids containing either
RNA1 or RNA2.
Cowpea severe mosaic virus strain
Cowpea mosaic virus (CPMV) complexed with antibody fragment 5b2. CPMV is a good tool for studying neutralization of viruses by antibodies because it is strongly antigenic in mice and rabbits.
Cowpea mosaic virus (CPMV) complexed with antibody fragment 10b7.
Other Comovirus Projects:
CPMV bottom component which contains RNA1
CPMV top component which is devoid of RNA
